Safety Mate's latest innovation is the new NXG GreenTek™ gloves, an environmentally conscious hand protection range that uses up to 50% of recycled polyester yarn. Bisley has partnered with Arch & Hook to help reduce the use of virgin plastics in their supply chain by recycling marine waste. In 2021, Bisley introduced certified recycled polyester yarn to produce its durable workwear range. Made from plastic waste, these fibres divert pollution from landfill and our waterways.
By 2025, Steel Blue aims to be carbon-neutral by sourcing leather exclusively from Leather Working Group gold-rated suppliers. The company also aims to reduce paper usage, eliminate solvent-based chemicals in their production process, where possible, and streamline their boots returns process to reduce waste to landfill.
